These vines are among the oldest Pinot Noir vines in Baden. 'Buntsandstein' vineyard is situated on red clay, this adds to the unusual power and breadth of this particular Pinot.
The winemakers Sven and Florian are hands-off in the cellar. Grapes are crushed in an old wooden basket press and then go into secondhand Burgundian barrels for 12 months, the resulting wine has bright acidity and wild red fruit.
