We keep a number of bottles on the side for each vintage of this wine to allow it to fully develop in its complexity and soften down the tannins coming from the long maceration process. We think that this vintage is drinking extremely well right now, still delivering lots of freshness.
La Stoppa is one of the best wineries in the Emilia Romagna, especially for their skin contact wines. Elena Pantaleoni makes this very typical local blend of Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortrugo and Trebbiano in honour of the estate’s founder Giancarlo Ageno.
